The Art of Writing a Love Letter
In this epistolary rom-com with a dizzying variety of writing styles, a beleaguered grad student finds himself unexpectedly banished to a far-flung research station on the Noto Peninsula, far from his hometown of Kyoto. Grappling with homesickness in an unfamiliar town, he begins to dispatch letters to his erstwhile friends in Kyoto under the guise of practicing to become a master letter-writer, in hopes of breaking the monotony of his sleepy little town. He fills up page after page haranguing his little sister and dispensing advice to a friend navigating the maze of love, but will he ever work up the courage to write and let the object of his affections how he truly feels?
